The Kitsap Conservation District has a variety of services and programs to offer the landowners of Kitsap County.

  • Click on Farm Planning to find out information about the farm planning process and how it can help solve vexing problems on your farm.
  • The Technology page offers information about technical resources available at the District.
  • Click on CREP to view information about the Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program, which establishes buffers along eligible salmon streams in return for yearly rental payments and cost-sharing.
  • The EQIP page has information about the Environmental Quality Incentive Program, a federal cost-sharing program which can supply up to 75% cost share funds to fix all environmental problems on qualifying farms.
  • The spring Plant Sale is a popular event for those wishing to purchase trees, shrubs, and groundcovers cheaply for conservation or beautification of their property.
