Brian
Stahl is your resource planner for Bainbridge Island. Brian grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin
that happened to be one of the first to take advantage of Natural
Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) program funding to construct a
manure storage lagoon. Brian has shifted gears and is now concentrating on
livestock management as related to our Pacific Northwest natural
resources.
Bainbridge Island Inter-local Agreement:
The City of Bainbridge Island and Kitsap Conservation District (KCD) have an inter-local agreement to provide technical assistance to
private landowners to improve management of agricultural operations and
land management. Our goal is to respond to and address water quality and
fish and wildlife related referrals from the city, state, and local
agencies.
