The Kitsap Conservation District is led by a five member board of volunteer, unpaid supervisors. Three of the members are elected by the citizens of Kitsap County while two members are appointed by the Washington Conservation Commission. The Board of Supervisors directs the District administratively and with annual work plans each year. The Board of Supervisors meet the second Wednesday of each month at 6:15 p.m. at the Kitsap Conservation District office at 1386 SE Lund Avenue, Suite 1, Port Orchard, Washington. The public is invited to attend. If you would like more information about becoming either an Associate Supervisor, or a Supervisor, please contact Joy Garitone, District Resource Coordinator.
