What does the Conservation District do?Conservation Districts work with landowners on the following issues:
What are Conservation Plans?Farm and woodland plans are management tools tailored to an individual's property. These plans address both landowner management goals and water quality issues. They are working documents that can be revised as landowner objectives change. These plans are the basis for BMP recommendations that conserve natural resources. Educational Programs:The Kitsap Conservation District can provide education/information programs to adults and children through workshops, demonstration farm tours, a resource library, booth displays, and presentations. Any of these programs can be arranged by contacting the Kitsap Conservation District.
